Low-Frequency-EngineThe Low-Frequency Engine gives you an unbeatable flexibility, speed and accuracy when calculating low frequency problems in frequency or time domain. Low frequency doesn’t mean frequencies close to DC. Frequency limit depends mainly on the extension of geometry. An average automobile structure can be calculated with good accuracy with the Low-Frequency-Engine up to 2 MHz. This covers the AM-radio frequency range. With slightly reduced accuracy, calculations can be done up to 10 MHz. . The Low-Frequency-Engine uses the Static3D solver bases on Method of Moments and generates an equivalent circuit that can be calculated with network analysis. Within the EMC Studio environment the complete calculation chain is supported with minimum needed user interaction.
